DAUNTLESS ENTERS A NEW ERA: THE DAUNTLESS SHOWCASES BEGIN WITH OUR NEXT KICKSTARTER

Dauntless is shifting into high gear as we launch our next Kickstarter, ushering in a bold new chapter for Dauntless Stories. We've heard your thoughts on treating kickstarter as the next direct market, and as we fully embrace a crowdfunding-first approach, we're committed to striking the right balance—bringing you fresh, exciting stories without overwhelming the space.

With that in mind, we’re proud to introduce our new Dauntless Showcases. Every few months, we will present a curated selection of dynamic titles from a range of talented creators. These collections serve as our primary seasonal offerings, allowing you to either pick up a single title or grab the full Showcase Bundle at a discounted rate. Some titles that require extensive funding will still have their own releases. 

Our inaugural Showcase is packed with incredible stories, showcasing a mix of thrilling espionage, daring adventure, cosmic mysteries, and kaiju-fueled detective noir.

Clockwork Heart

From writer-artist  Marcus Jimenez (Knight from Hell, Deadly Living) , with letters by award winning letterer Lucas Gattoni (Somna (Eisner winner) + DC Pride + Young Men in Love (GLAAD Award winners) + Killer Queens (Eisner nom)), this 44+ page graphic novella follows Viktor-09, a Cold War cybernetic spy for the Red Directive, whose only purpose is to complete the mission—until he meets her. This story is a pulse-pounding exploration of duty, humanity, and the fragile line between machine and man.

From Fire and Blood

A gripping oversized two-issue mini-series co-created by Taylor Stauft & Marcus Jimenez, featuring colors by Sean Baggs and letters by Toben Racicot.

From Fire and Blood follows former treasure hunter Jason Zhang who is forced out of retirement when his mentor is kidnapped. Teaming up with Interpol, fixers, and his ex-girlfriend, Jason must navigate a dangerous web of deception to find an ancient relic before it falls into the wrong hands.

Kaiju P.I.

From the mind of Max Pinelli, this first issue is making its physical debut via Kickstarter, with pages released weekly for free leading up to the launch! A fresh take on the detective genre, Kaiju P.I. blends hard-boiled mystery with larger-than-life creatures in a world where the elite abandoned humanity with supposed monsters. Today, the lines between human and kaiju have blurred more than ever, and someone’s got to read between them. Enter Derek Jensen, the one and only KAIJU P.I.

Rangers of the Divide

We are thrilled to announce that Dauntless has acquired Megan Huang’s acclaimed series, Rangers of the Divide! Previously published, this beloved title has been greenlit through Volume Two, with Volume One set to be re-released in oversized 56pg-issue format featuring new covers and an expanded bestiary from Megan herself! Megan has worked on titles such as Godzilla, Star Wars, My Adventures with Superman, and more!
