A New Void Page & A New Beginning

Hey Dauntless Readers,

This week, the newest Void page drops, and I have to tell you—this scene? This one has been in my head for three years. It’s gone through countless iterations, rewrites, and reimaginings. And now, it’s finally here. There’s something incredibly satisfying about bringing a long-standing vision to life, especially when it’s been reshaped, refined, and ultimately made better by time.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in this journey, it’s that it’s okay to revisit your old work. Sometimes, that old idea—the one you shelved, the one that didn’t quite fit before—just needs the right moment to shine. And that’s exactly the energy I’m carrying into my next project.

Clockwork Heart—Launching on Kickstarter This March

I’m excited to announce my next Kickstarter, a 1-week campaign in March for Clockwork Heart, a 44+ page cybernetic love story that I’m writing, drawing, and coloring myself.

What’s it about?

In an alternate 1967, the Cold War has birthed a new weapon—Wind-Up Men, cybernetic assassins programmed to blend in, execute orders, and self-terminate before capture. Viktor-9, one of the deadliest among them, has 72 hours before his body shuts down permanently. His final target: Dr. Yuna Kaede, a Japanese scientist hiding in divided Berlin, accused of defecting to the Western Federation. But when Viktor tracks her down, something glitches—he hesitates when she is taken by a mysterious operative.  Viktor was built to kill without question, but instead, he intervenes, saving her life—and breaking his programming in the process.

Now fugitives, Viktor and Yuna race through the streets of Berlin, seeking passage to the west before his countdown expires.

A mix of Cold War noir, cyberpunk espionage, and tragic romance, A Clockwork Heart explores themes of free will, identity, and love in a world designed for control. It’s Blade Runner meets The Man From U.N.C.L.E., with a tragic dose of Casablanca.

So why a one-week campaign? There’s a saying my dad always told me: One for them, one for you. I love helping elevate other creators and building amazing projects, but I also want to challenge myself and show you all what I can do. This book is personal.

Clockwork Heart started as an idea five years ago, back when I first began my comics career. It was one of those stories I needed to grow into, and now? Now, I have the tools, the experience, and the drive to finally make it a reality. This campaign’s goal will be small—just enough to cover printing—because more than anything, I need this book to exist.

You’ll find a sneak peek at the first page attached. I can’t wait to share more soon. Thank you for continuing this journey with me—your support fuels every story we tell.

Always remember.
